| Resurrection and St. Michael Churches will both have a baby shower the weekend of May 10-11 to coincide with Mother’s Day. Watch for laundry baskets to be placed at all the entrances of the churches. We ask for donations of NEW newborn and infant clothing, diapers, wipes and blankets. These items will be donated to the Marathon County Public Health Nurses to give to their needy clients. Thank you in advance for your generosity. |

| Diocese of LaCrosse Permanent Diaconate Program will start a new class of aspirants in the fall of 2009. Some of the criteria include: men, 35-65 years old at the time of ordination; a Roman Catholic, married or single; one of sound moral character and mature faith; if married, a partner in a stable marriage for at least seven years; a man of prayer; have at least a high school or GED diploma; a person who reflects stability in a career/job; and one who demonstrates service in the Church and community. If you feel called to this ministry in the Church, you may contact Fr. Bill, Fr. Hackel or Deacon Peter Burek. |
